Our Pastor
Rev Douglas Grant
Pastor Doug received a Master of Divinity Degree from the
Lexington Theological Seminary in May of 2003, and is a
recipient of the Sharon E. Dowd Biblical Studies award. He
was Ordained in 2004 by the Christian Church Disciples of
Christ.
Pastor Doug has served as Pastor of Waddy Christian
Church in Waddy, KY and Fairview Christian Church in
Louisville, KY. He has also served as Youth Minister for
Suburban Christian Church and Edenside Christian
Church in Louisville, KY.
Our Secretary
Mrs. Monica Hutton
Monica has just recently began taking on the job of being
a volunteer church secretary. Great thanks go to Sylvia
Eveslage whom retired this past year after 43 years of
volunteer service. Monica is able to help in anything you
need. She is in the office on Thursday morning from 9:30
am to 12:00 pm. Stop by and see if she can help.
Our Youth Director
Ms. Debbie Blasdel
Debbie is currently the Youth Director. Debbie, along with
the Christian Education Ministry, is responsible for all
youth programs at the church. On Sunday morning
Debbie puts together a wonderful Children's Church time
that the youth really love. The youth have there own
space to worship and come to know God. The Children's
service is designed and written by Debbie so that the
youth may experience God in a unique and exciting ways.
Our Musicians
Ms. April Keith
April is currently the organist/pianist/choir leader for
FKCC. She enhances the service by sharing her talents
on our electronic keyboard. April is a dedicated musician
who brings much to our service. She also leads choir
practice on Wednesday nights in various types of music.
The choir, under her direction, performs in our main
worship on Sunday morning. April is always looking for
new members to sing in the choir. No experience is
necessary. The only requirement is the desire to sing.
Mr. Jonathan Ruff
Jonathan is our Worship Leader. He leads the singing and
plays the guitar during the worship service and has been a
great asset to our worship. Through his help and
guidance we have been learning new songs. Jonathan
has a true heart for God and expresses that heart
throughout the worship service.
